PINK TEAM TOURNAMENT

Bill, Melissa, Ryan, and I are very excited about a new adventure we are taking on here at King’s Grant. We
would like our membership, our patrons, and our community to band together and help cancer patients in the
Fayetteville community. This is the great challenge as we come to the end of a fantastic 2023 golf season to
raise $5,000.00 for cancer patients in our community!
Having said that King’s Grant Golf CC will be hosting their inaugural Pink Team Tournament. The tournament
will be held Sunday, October 8th with a 9:00 am shotgun. The tournament and the fundraising are open to our members, our patrons and our community golfers and non-golfers.
The Pink Team Tournament is a fundraiser cancer awareness event where all proceeds will be donated to the
Karen Chandler Trust. Making a difference for local cancer patients. The mission of the Karen Chandler Trust is
to support cancer patients and their families and promote community awareness. The KCT accomplishes their
mission by:
 Operating through 100% volunteer board, so that every dollar raised can go to assist local patients.
 We assist patients with rent/mortgage payments, utility bills, transportation costs, groceries, etc., so
that they can focus on their battle with this awful disease.
 Cutting out the “Red-Tape”, which allows us to react quickly to help those in need.
 Holding annual fundraising events, which offers a format through which we can educate our neighbors
about the hardships and needs faced by local cancer patients.
 Assisting patients with gaining access to appropriate organizations to apply for long term public
assistance.

OUR GOAL IS TO RAISE $5,000.00

How can you support The Pink Team Event?
 Play in the 18-hole scramble/Captain’s Choice $400.00 four-person team $100.00 per player.
We will have three flights: all male player flight, mixed male/female player flight / all-female flight.
Flight awards will be paid out in cash.
 Purchase one of the Pink Flags with the King’s Grant Logo that will be on every hole on the day of the
tournament. It will be put in a case and delivered to you. Cost $500.00.
 Become a hole sponsor, your name, business, cancer survivor you support or honor will be on a sign
and placed on one of the 18 holes for the tournament. Cost $100.00 per hole.
 Bring a donation by check or cash up to the King’s Grant Clubhouse.
 Beverage Cart Sponsor $500.00 Donate Water, Soda, Gatorade for Beverage Cart for the day.
 Sponsor a team for $400.00 we will find the golfers.
